Currently, we are looking for a Tire Specialist to join the FleetNet team. This position is responsible for maintaining contact via phone with repair vendors and customers who are on the road in need of help. 

Your contribution may include:

  • Assess and assigns open events that are tire related or Non-Mechanical
  • Verify that proper authorization has been obtained to dispatch the event
  • Assign appropriate and nearest repair vendor to make requested repairs
  • Advise the customer of the estimated time of arrival on the event and follow instructions per their requirements
  • Make supervisor on duty aware of any delays with the vendors estimated time of arrival or problems with repairs
  • Work with follow up when problems arise
  • Assist with new inbound event calls as necessary
  • Assist as needed in resolving customer inquires
  • Other duties as assigned by your immediate supervisor or other management

As a Tire Specialist, you will be a member of the FleetNet Team in Cherryville, NC. Your hours will generally be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

  • Strong knowledge and experience with commercial tires; diesel mechanic knowledge a plus
  • Good customer service skills
  • Ability to work closely with other staff members
  • Good typing skills
  • Flexibility with schedule
  • Work weekends, nights and holidays
