Currently, we are looking for an Truckload Fulfillment Coordinator to join the ArcBest team. The primary responsibility of a Truckload Fulfillment Coordinator is to source and execute cost-effective solutions for truckload shipments through use of the network of approved truckload carriers. Negotiating with providers and carriers on cost and service-levels is required, as well as offering excellent customer-service to ArcBest customers and employees. Collaboration across the Customer Solutions department as well as across ArcBest is necessary in order to provide the best service and customer experience.

Your contribution may include:

  • Develop and expand a practical and working knowledge of logistics.
  • Learn and adhere to internal work processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Meet productivity expectations, including designated daily targets.
  • Effectively manage all forms of communication (i.e. inbound, outbound phone calls and email).
  • Work within assigned team to meet team goals (Truckload, Asset-Light and Company).
  • Source capacity and services to ensure available equipment.
  • Negotiate rates with and dispatch shipments to providers and carriers within assigned team.
  • Develop ArcBest core carrier relationships.
  • Accurately record, transmit, and audit shipment details as needed.
  • Identify and report problems in operational systems and processes.
  • Respond in a timely manner to external and internal customer inquiries.
  • Collaborate across the Customer Solutions department and the Company to provide solutions for customers.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in an intense environment.
  • Create peace-of-mind by becoming a trusted, creative problem solver who is easy to do business with.

As an Truckload Fulfillment Coordinator, you will be a member of the Customer Solutions: Fulfillment team. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

  • Education: Bachelors Degree in Transportation/Logistics/Business, preferred. High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
  • Experience: 6+ months of logistic experience, preferred
  • Technology: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, preferred
