Currently, we are looking for a Customer Support Coordinator to join the ArcBest team. The primary responsibility of the Customer Support Coordinator is to provide essential account level support to support to both internal and external customers via phone, email or chat. In addition, they will proactively monitor, coordinate, and report on behalf of those accounts. In some scenarios they will need to work with X-Net provider(s) to meet all requirements and monitor those shipments throughout their life cycle.

Your contribution may include:

  • Act as a central point of contact for ArcBest accounts that need specialized monitoring, reporting, or dedicated customer service functions.
  • Be the single access point for the entire suite of logistics solutions that ArcBest offers for those accounts.
  • Monitor dedicated shared inboxes and phone numbers
  • Submit quotes, pickup requests and rate corrections
  • Create BOL's and provide shipment specific documentation
  • Communicate shipment status to both internal and external customers
  • Provide access and assistance concerning the Web site
  • Track, trace, and proactively monitor shipments for specific accounts
  • Follow the standard operating procedure as outlined for each account
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals
  • Ability to multitask across various assignments and meet deadlines

As a Customer Support Coordinator, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions: Customer Support Team. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

  • High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED): Required.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
  • Previous transportation experience is a plus.
