Currently, we are looking for an Employee Experience and People Applications Analyst to join the ArcBest team.  The Employee Experience and People Applications Analyst leads projects in an effort to understand and support the employee experience within a wide range of digital people applications. In addition to the company’s digital employee “experience layer,” this role participates in projects with the systems used to carry out talent processes and consult functional teams on process improvement through those systems. This position also leads the maintenance, design, development, testing and deployment of people application tools in alignment with organizational goals and a best-in-class employee experience.

Your contribution may include:

  • Provide system knowledge transfer and assist with on the job training to coordinators and other junior team members.
  • Review Workday (or other vendor) releases and product roadmaps to identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve and support business objectives.
  • Partner in the evaluation, selection, planning, design, implementation, training and support for Workday tools and other vendors, as needed.
  • Carry out regression testing and introduction of required changes as new system enhancements are introduced.
  • Participate actively in Workday Community Q&A Forums (or that of other vendors), submit necessary brainstorms and promote brainstorms that benefit the organization.
  • Participate in governance process, roadmapping exercises and cross functional resource planning.
  • Plan communications, facilitate demos and create training as needed to effectively bring impacted groups through the change with minimal business impact.
  • Provide assistance to end users.
  • Analyze listening tools" such as user behavior reports and support metrics to understand the employee experience.
  • Understand the full employee experience (across HR, talent, work applications, and other company processes) and participate in projects that provide a seamless, digital, mobile solution across all people applications.
  • Work closely with the performance and succession teams to complete projects that meet their needs, such as configuring performance review processes or career preference tasks.
  • Work closely with recruiting and job description teams to complete projects that meet their needs, such as configuring candidate and approval workflows.
  • Work closely with training teams to complete projects that meet their needs, such as configuring training pages and navigation flows.
  • Work closely with survey teams to complete projects that meet their needs, such as configuring the annual employee survey, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Lead system configuration projects that provide a seamless digital experience for all employees through ArcBest’s employee “experience layer.”
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Employee Experience and People Applications Analyst, you will be a member of the ArcBest People Services team in Fort Smith, AR. Your work hours will be 8:00AM - 5:00PM with occasional irregular hours depending on workload. Ready to apply? Before doing so, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Product Management, Marketing, Human Resources or other related field. 

Experience: Prior experience in human resources, talent management, recruiting and/or survey system administration or other product development experience.  

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams. High comfort level with any technology.
