Currently, we are looking for a Manager, Engineering and Technology - Yield Strategy to join the ArcBest team. The Manager, Engineering & Technology manages the projects and processes to advance ArcBest yield initiatives and provide analytical support and insight into historical and current business trends to promote optimal yield results. This position also researches and stays abreast of internal and external business influencers to aid in predictive yield analysis and decisions.

Your contribution may include:

  • Develop, prioritize and manage projects that align with current yield initiatives.
  • Provide insight on current yield management effectiveness and develop business strategies with leadership.
  • Monitor internal business trends and potential industry disruptors to assist with the long-term yield strategy.
  • Perform ad-hoc and scheduled reporting around key yield metrics.
  • Define and promote optimal yield guidance through systems, processes and best practices.
  • Manage general rate adjustments for our general and solution-specific pricing tariffs.
  • Support and continually advance efficiencies of Yield department analytical processes and tools.
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Manager, Engineering and Technology - Yield Strategy, you will be a member of the ArcBest Yield Strategy team in Fort Smith, AR. The hours for this role are generally 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with occasional irregular hours depending on workload. Ready to apply? Before doing so, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering or Analytics.

Experience: Minimum, three years’ experience in Supply Chain analytics or other related industry experience.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements: Ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization, including executive leadership.
