Currently, we are looking for a Payroll and Benefits User Experience Coordinator to join the ArcBest team. The Payroll and Benefits User Experience Coordinator supports all projects in an effort to understand and support the employee experience within a wide range of digital people application solutions for Absence, Benefits, Payroll, and Time Tracking. The position assists with the maintenance, design, development, testing, and deployment of people application tools to support organizational functions and streamline operations.

Your contribution may include:

  • Assist with the review of Workday (or other vendor) releases and product roadmaps to identify opportunities to leverage new features and functionality to improve and support business objectives.
  • Assist in the implementation, training, and support for Workday tools (and other vendors, as needed).
  • Help support regression testing and introduction of required changes as new system enhancements are introduced.
  • Actively participate in Workday Community Q&A Forum (or that of other vendors) and User Groups, apply to applicable Design Partner Groups and Early Adopter Programs, submit necessary brainstorms, and promote brainstorms that will benefit the organization.
  • Understand and assist in governance process, roadmapping exercises, and cross functional resource planning.
  • Assist with communication, demos, and training as needed to effectively bring change-impacted groups through a change with minimal business impacts.
  • Provide assistance, as needed, to end users.
  • Support Benefits Open Enrollment window with technical requirements.
  • Support Absence Time Off Plan accrual issues, including but not limited to, correcting Time Off Plan Override Balances from Go Live.
  • Provide guidance for data extraction and loads including iLoads and EIBs.
  • Maintain awareness of Workday system business process changes, notifications, alerts, validations, and help text for Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc.
  • Support work schedule calendar assignments and accrual calculation issues.
  • Support Time Tracking calculation issues based on Time Calculations or Payroll Inputs sources.
  • Support the Payroll functional team with questions related to Payroll Operations.
  • Help maintain workforce management data integrity by performing queries and analyzing data.
  • Provide first level support for all Service Now cases assigned to the Payroll and Benefits UX Team.
  • Monitor service interruptions and/or system latencies and promptly communicate status updates and mitigation plans to impacted users.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Payroll and Benefits User Experience Coordinator, you will be a member of the ArcBest People Services team in Fort Smith, AR. Your work hours will be 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Product Management, Marketing, Human Resources, or related field. Strong experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience: HR, payroll, benefits, absence, time tracking, or other product development experience, required.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams. High comfort level with any technology.
