Currently, we are looking for a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications to join the ArcBest team. As a member, you will be responsible for creating, implementing and managing strategic internal communication plans, messages, positioning efforts and programs that support ArcBest and ArcBest subsidiaries. This position works closely with the CEO, Chief HR Officer and other Sr. leaders to help shape the communication of ArcBest’s vision, mission and supporting strategies leading to greater employee understanding and engagement. This position also drives PR initiatives. The Senior Manager of Corporate Communications manages brand guidelines and works across the enterprise to ensure the brand and logo are used appropriately to ensure a consistent look and feel. This position will have an increased focus on employee branding, to ensure what employees (current and potential) see and feel is consistent with the external customer brand.

Your contribution may include:

  • Provide support and strategic communication guidance on internal and corporate communication needs.
  • Develop and implement thoughtful and engaging communications programs that build on, enhance and amplify ArcBest’s culture, values and priorities.
  • Utilize expertise in internal communications to provide advice and guidance regarding communication strategy and dissemination of information to employees. Develop, execute and manage internal communications programs and publications that create engaged and productive employees.
  • Lead executive communications programs and initiatives, properly positioning members of leadership, aligning messaging and coordinating communications, ensuring all support and enhance the ArcBest brand.
  • Manage PR efforts for ArcBest and ArcBest subsidiaries, utilizing PR as a channel to create awareness of and build the ArcBest brand.
  • Guide media relations, conference participation and speaking opportunities.
  • Provide support to internal teams by designing and producing forms, brochures, etc

As a Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Experience team.Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

  • Bachelor’s degree and advanced degree in a related field, preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook
