Currently, we are looking for a Student Worker, Quotations - Bilingual Spanish/English to join the ArcBest team. The Student Worker, Quotations – Bilingual assists the Quotations team by monitoring assigned Outlook inboxes, entering quote requests into the system, sending the requests to the analysts and/or customers, as well as assisting with various projects. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios. This position is specific for shipments within the Mexican-American and offshore markets.

Your contribution may include:

  • Monitor Outlook inboxes.
  • Enter quote requests into IQS and Mainframe.
  • Determine whether the quote can be sent to the customer or if it requires analyst review and take appropriate action.
  • Communicate with team members and customers.
  • Handle quote bookings.
  • Create and send bills of lading.
  • Participate in special projects.
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
  • Must be fluent in Spanish; spoken, written, and can translate.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As a Student Worker, Quotations - Bilingual Spanish/English, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions team in Fort Smith, AR. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on workload.

Education: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree, required.

Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Excellent Excel, spreadsheet and reporting skills.

Other Requirements: Must be fluent in Spanish, with the ability to speak, write, and translate in both English and Spanish, required.
