Currently, we are looking for a Student Worker, Truckload Sales to join the ArcBest team. This position completes outbound calls to qualify leads and assists in setting appointments by using multiple computer programs to provide assistance and effectively communicate with internal and external customers.

Your contribution may include:

• Prospect leads using tools like Zoom Info.
• Complete outbound calls for lead qualification and appointment setting.
• Contact customers to follow-up on previously generated quotes to secure business and obtain feedback.
• Provide rate quotes to transactional customers when needed.
• Work within customer transportation management systems to deliver rates and updates.
• Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As the Student Worker, Truckload Sales, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions: Truckload team in Fort Smith, AR. This position is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role.

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite.

Certifications: Prior knowledge of the transportation industry.
