Currently, we are looking for a Carrier Relations Specialist II to join the ArcBest team. The Carrier Relations Specialist II position is fast-paced and demanding of one’s time management skills and concentration. This position builds and implements a vast knowledge of company, industry, and government criteria in order to work with U.S. and Canadian carriers from the existing ArcBest carrier base and new carriers in carrier related issues. The Carrier Relations Specialist II has a vast array of responsibilities and exposure to all aspects of a transportation brokerage operation. 

Your contribution may include:

  • Vet existing and new carriers to ensure that they meet company standards for use.
  • Coordinate the set-up of carriers to have access to the ArcBest online carrier portal.
  • Work with carriers on payment issues.
  • Expand and further develop ArcBest’s core carrier list.
  • Review and maintain all pertinent information for carrier files.
  • Image and index all necessary paperwork.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As a Carrier Relations Specialist II, you will be a member of the ArcBest Carrier Relations Specialist II team in Laredo, TXYour hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Transportation or Marketing, preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum, one-year relevant experience, preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
