What You'll Do

Currently, we are looking for an Intern, Panther Logistics to join the ArcBest team. The Intern, Panther Logistics will be based out of the Medina, Ohio campus and will assist the Owner Operator Truck and Driver Recruiting teams with the qualification and onboarding of all Independent Contractors.

Your contribution may include:

  • Assist Owner-Operator Recruiters for Drivers and Trucks with the recruiting process and collection of all necessary qualification documents required by the FMCSA.
  • Review applications to ensure candidates meet minimum FMCSA, Federal DOT regulations, and ArcBest SOP guidelines.
  • Verify previous work history for candidates, including regulated driving experience and history.
  • Obtain documented clarification on any negative employment history.
  • Obtain and review criminal background checks for candidates.
  • Follow up with candidates to ensure all required paperwork and documentation is provided to the Company in a timely manner.
  • Collect accident / incident details for safety review.
  • Utilize phone and email to create and complete candidate file.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As a Intern, Panther Logistics, you will be a member of the ArcBest Expedited: Recruiting team in Medina, OH. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.

Ready to apply? Before doing so, please make sure you meet the minimum requirements:

Education: Must be pursuing college degree, supply chain and business majors, preferred. Minimum 3.0 GPA, required.

Experience: Transportation recruiting experience, preferred.

 Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
