Currently, we are looking for a Owner-Operator Experience Specialist I to join the ArcBest team. As a Owner-Operator Experience Specialist I your primary responsibility is the retention of the Panther Fleet of Independent Owner-Operators and drivers. This is achieved through interaction with the Panther Fleet to answer questions, explain and enforce corporate policies, and by providing coaching and guidance to the fleet on how to be a successful and productive business partner. 

Your contribution may include:

  • Answer inbound off-pro phone calls from the fleet.
  • Identify and deliver coaching to contractors on a daily basis.
  • Identify root causation of problems as presented.
  • Offer practical solutions to issues.
  • Answer all questions based on research completed and company SOP’s.
  • Issue approved relocation miles (empty move).
  • Review and approve Home Time requests.
  • Reply to Omnitracs messages from the fleet (F9s).
  • Reply to email inquiries from internal and external customers in a timely manner.
  • Escalate fleet experience issues and successes to the Manager of Fleet Experience (Quality).
  • Monitor, contact, and update fleet availability statues for the fleet.
  • File settlement adjustments as needed.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

As an Owner-Operator Experience Specialist I, you will be a member of the ArcBest Expedite: Fleet Recruiting team. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 11:00am to 7:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

Education: Bachelor’s degree, preferred. Experience will be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience: Prior experience in a customer service in a call center environment, preferred. Prior transportation and/or commercial driving experience, preferred. 

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
