Currently, we are looking for an Owner-Operator Recruiting Processor to join the ArcBest team. The Owner-Operator Recruiting Processor assists the Owner Operator Truck and Driver Recruiting teams with the qualification and onboarding of all Independent Contractors.


Your contribution may include:

  • Assist Fleet Recruiting Account Manager and Owner-Operator Recruiters to accurately qualify contractors and equipment for onboarding into the Panther fleet.
  • Process and review criminal background reports, motor vehicle records, DAC employment history, previous employment verifications, and accident/ incident reports ensuring that candidates meet minimum FMCSA, Federal DOT regulations, and ArcBest SOP guidelines, including registration for Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse.
  • Work with accuracy and efficiency ensuring documents and processing are completed in a timely manner.
  • Communicate daily with Panther fleet owners, potential contractors, and Fleet Account Mangers to ensure awareness of where the contractor is in the processing phase.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to streamline the onboarding process.
  • Create and complete candidate files through heavy phone usage and be agile in obtaining proper documents and employment verifications for candidate and equipment onboarding.
  • Assist in recruiting, as needed.
  • Assist other recruiters with processing support, as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

As the Owner-Operator Recruiting Processor, you will be a member of the Expedite: Fleet Recruiting team. Your work hours will generally be between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload. Ready to apply? Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Prior experience in transportation recruiting, preferred. 

Computer Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Requirements:  Ability to thoroughly comprehend and adhere to all Company safety and qualification SOPs. Knowledge and compliance of all DOT and CSA rules and regulations pertaining to the qualifications of Independent Contractors.
