Currently, we are looking for a Solutions Coordinator to join the ArcBest team. The Solutions Coordinator supports external and internal customers in order to execute requirements and maintain business levels. These requirements may involve truckload, LTL, expedited, intermodal and/or other modes within ArcBest. Solutions Coordinators serve as the day to day contacts for specific customers, as well as for team-based project execution.

Your contribution may include:

  • Serve as primary customer point of contact (Voice to the customer) for accounts transitioned from both ArcBest Outside and Inside Sales.
  • Coordinate with various departments to facilitate transportation services to specified customers.
  • Implement customized solutions to meet the ever changing requirements for specific accounts within ArcBest.
  • Monitor compliance of customer SOPs and correct potential non-conformance for assigned accounts.
  • Build relationships with ArcBest Sales and directly communicate with customers to instill confidence in our ability to meet agreed upon expectations.
  • Identify and implement customized solutions, including truckload, LTL, Expedite, Warehousing, or other modes when necessary.
  • Provide out of office coverage for ArcBest inside sales, as necessary.
  • Maintain a positive, customer centric attitude in a highly charged environment.
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish goals with emphasis on account and teammate backup.
  • Answer inbound customer phone calls and handle appropriately. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager Account Solutions.
  • Use appropriate and professional written and verbal business communication with customers (both internal and external).

As a Solutions Coordinator, you will be a member of the ArcBest Customer Solutions: Quotes team. Your hours will be Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm, with irregular hours that may occur depending on work load.

  • Education: A college degree in transportation or business is preferred, but not necessary.
  • Experience: Truckload and intermodal brokerage.
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Quotehost and Live Services.
